Third Annual Founders' Week Celebration
June 24-30
In 1891, two boat builders, Logan Drake and Louis Wallace, founded the Silver Beach Amusement Park. For nearly 100 years, this park located along Lake Michigan thrilled millions of fun-seekers from around the world. Today, Silver Beach Center continues the legacy Drake and Wallace began and to honor them has planned a weeklong celebration with fun activities for all ages.
Medieval Times Spring Festival
March 29 - May 6
The Silver Beach Carousel is transforming into a magical, medieval world this spring to welcome its new mythical, guest carousel figure that will be unveiled at 2 p.m., March 31. The Carousel House will become a fairy tale castle, replete with a drawbridge, festive medieval decorations, a friendly dragon and enough magic fairy dust to transform riders into princesses, knights, fairies and sprites. The Medieval Times Spring Festival runs March 29–May 6 with extended hours, special theme days and enchanting activities for all ages during spring break week, March 31–April 7.
